10. Telehealth Services

Should you engage in telehealth services with True North Clinical Services, you acknowledge that such services involve the use of electronic communications to provide care when you and the provider are not in the same physical location. These services are subject to the laws and regulations of the State of New Jersey. The standard of care for telehealth services is the same as for in-person care. The provision of telehealth services requires a separate, documented informed consent process, which will be provided to you prior to your first telehealth session. This consent will detail the benefits, risks, and alternatives to telehealth. All information transmitted during telehealth sessions is subject to the same strict confidentiality and privacy protections as in-person care, as detailed in our HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices.
